RAY BUCHANAN

Big Play Ray Buchanan was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois where he was an all-around athlete in high school. He attended the University of Louisville before he was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in 1993. He earned the name “Big Play Ray” in 1994 for returning 3 of his 8 interceptions for touchdowns. He later arrived to Atlanta in 1997 where he excelled for 7 seasons. Ray was a player known to talk-the-talk and walk-the-walk. With 184 career games played, Ray was able to rack-up 47 interceptions along with a pro-bowl career.
