DJ Shockley became the first UGA player drafted by the Falcons since 1994. At the University of Georgia, Shockley earned first-team All-SEC honors in 2005, won the FCA Bobby Bowden Football Player of the Year Award, and finished 3rd in voting for the Associated Press Player of the Year.
